Excursions from Haifa

The Mediterranean Sea (along the west coast of Israel) is home to the Haifa port in the north. The Haifa Port is Israel’s largest port located about 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of Tel Aviv. The port is located in a natural, protected bay and includes many facilities that allow for the shipping and transportation of all types of cargo as well as docking facilities for large passenger liners.  We would love to customize a tour for your clients.

Excursion to Nazareth, Sea of Galilee, and Capernaum
Enjoy a lovely day watching the outstanding landscape of the lower Galilee. Drive to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Drive along lake Kinneret to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, located at the foot of the Golan Heights. Continue to Yardenit, the famous site where the Jordan river leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea, before returning to point of departure.

Excursion to Haifa Akko, Rosh Hanikra
Start from Haifa, with a scenic view of the city and the port and its Bahai Gardens. Continue via Nahariya to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottos on the border with Lebanon; Return via Acre to visit the Crusaders and Turkish underground city and crypt. Walk through the old city and the oriental market, the Arab mosque and the old port. Return to Haifa Port.

Excursion to Caesarea, Tel Aviv, Jaffa
Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port, with a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations. Drive around the main streets of Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel. Stop at Rabin’s square, place of assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000 year old port city; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artist’s quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1909 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian street of the city with its musicians, handmade jeweler and artifacts .Next , stop at Sheinkin , the lively and colorful street especially known with the unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance.  Return Haifa Port

Excursion to Safed and the Golan Heights
Drive to Safed, center of Kabala movement; Visit the JOSEPH CARO and the HA’ARI synagogues, the most important synagogues in the city; stroll around the the Artist’s quarter .Continue to the Golan heights ; Stop at an observation point over the city of Kuneitra, and the Syrian territory. Stop at Tel Facher, a former Syrian army camp ; Visit the Banias springs. Next, a visit to Tel-Hai ; See the “Roaring Lion” monument and learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920 . Return Haifa Port
