Culinary 10 Day Itinerary


Day 1
Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport. After you have cleared passport control our representative will be waiting to welcome you with a VIP special assistance to facilitate your luggage identification, handling, customs clearance and escort you to your waiting tour guide and driver. Drive to Tel Aviv short overview of the city. Go to hotel for check-in and free time to relax. Welcome Dinner at Raphael restaurant in Tel Aviv Overnight: Tel Aviv Tel Aviv

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel, and start touring. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and depart for the Palmach Museum, an interactive peek into the lives and experiences of the young freedom fighters who were the founders of Israel’s Defense Forces. Drive to Moshav near Natanya and participate in Lunch cooking class where you will cook your own lunch with famous chef at special demonstration kitchen. Continue to Binyamina and visit the winery, wine tasting including their ward winning “cave” wine. Return to Tel Aviv and tour the galleries and cafes of Neve Tzedek Dinner at Mul Yam restaurant in Tel Aviv Overnight: Tel Aviv Tel Aviv

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel and checkout, depart to the North. Next stop is Caesarea built by Herod the Great and once the seat of Roman rule. View the excavated Roman Theater, with its acoustic and theatrical sound, which was used for many performances throughout the centuries. A new audio-visual presentation brings to life the times of the Romans who controlled these shores 2,000 years ago. Today, it draws major venue attractions, for concerts and festivals. We will walk through the excavated fortress and view the aqueduct, once used for conveying water. Drive to Kibbutz Eyal visit the Saslov winery, meet Berry Saslov who was a pioneer in boutique wineries in Israel, do special wine testing and share his expertise about wine. Drive north and check into Mitzpeh Hayamim free time to relax and take SPA treatment (on your own account) we will assist in booking in advance. Day 4
Tour the Olive Oil mill in Ramat Hagolan meet the owner and learn about this agriculture filed and do some Olive Oil tasting. Visit the Golan Winery, home to three of Israel’s most decorated wineries – Golan, Yarden and Gamla. Visit the mystical city of Tzfat, the home of Kabbalah. You will see the centuries-old synagogues of some of the Jewish people’s most colorful spiritual leaders; also visit the world-famous artists’ colony. Return to the hotel to relax in the spa and enjoy treatments (on your account). Evening depart to the Golan where you will visit Chateau Golan for wine tasting and exclusive private dinner at the winery. Overnight: Mitzpeh HaYamim Hotel Spa Tiberius

Day 5
Breakfast at the Hotel and check out. Visit a very special cheese farm, which is both a successful agricultural endeavor and re-habilitation center for the handicapped. Drive to Jerusalem: stop for “She’hecheyanu” at Mt. Scopus. We continue to Machane Yehuda. Here we will meet a local Jerusalemite and chef Ruth Yudekovitz, who has been feeding friends and family since making aliyah 28 years ago, for a program ‘shuk and cook’. We will wind through the alleyways of the market barging, smelling, tasting, and experiencing the market before taking our wares back to our chef’s kitchen to prepare and eat our lunch Check in to your hotel.

Day 6
Visit the Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept in the Shrine of the Book, and you can a see a model Experience the new museum at Yad Vashem. The world’s first memorial to the darkest moment in world and Jewish history houses the children’s memorial and exquisite sculpture gardens. Visit the Kotel to participate in Kabbalat Shabbat services. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 7
Free Day to explore Jerusalem. Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 8
Visit the Western Wall, and tour the Kotel Tunnels, which show the Western Wall and the Holy Temple as they were in Roman Times, until the destruction of the temple in the year 70 CE. City of David – learn about and see the newest excavations at the City of David. Visit the Davidson Center and tour the southern wall excavations. Proceed to the Jewish Quarter. A special point of interest is the Cardo, the “heart” of the unearthed main Roman thoroughfare and ancient marketplace. Lecture by Tamar Bly, former restaurateur and presently cooking teacher at Hadash College.

Day 9
Breakfast and depart for a full day to the Dead Sea. Tour Massada, King Herod’s desert mountain get-away palace and scene of the zealots’ last stand against the Roman Legion. Drive to Daniel hotel at the Dead Sea for check in and time to float in the unsinkable Dead Sea and relax at the spa. Cover yourself with mineral-rich mud! We will be delighted to book spa treatments for you in advance! Lunch at the hotel included (SPA treatment at your own expense). Drive to Arad to visit the kosher Yatir winery and learn about growing grapes in the Judean Desert. Go to Kfar HaNokdim for special Bedouin dinner – a different type of meal and real hospitality. Overnight: Dead Sea

Day 10
Breakfast at the hotel and a free few hours to relax and utilize the hotel facilities and swim in the Dead Sea. Afternoon drive to Tel Aviv for a special farewell dinner at Le Relais and a lecture. Drive to Ben Gurion airport for your departure flight. Our representative will assist you during the check in for flight. Return flight
